Initial Disclosure Document

The Financial Conduct Authority is the independent regulator of financial services. The Financial Conduct Authority require us to provide you with a document called an 'Initial Disclosure Document'. This document provides information about us, the products we offer, the services we will provide, what we charge for our services, who regulates us, what to do if you have a complaint and details about the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

As a credit broker it's important for us to point out that we may receive a commission payment from the lender that we make the introduction too. All lenders set their own policies regarding commission arrangements and typically the amount will be capped at a percentage of the tax list price of the vehicle. The higher the amount of commission, the more you will pay to hire your vehicle.

Whose products do we provide?

As a Financial Conduct Authority regulated credit broker, we can introduce you to a range of lenders who may be able to help you finance your vehicle and provide other products/services.</p>

What services do we provide?

We will provide you with either comparable details of firms most appropriate to your lending or purchase requirements or general information relating to finance products. In assessing your requirements, we may seek such information about your personal circumstances and objectives as might be relevant in order to enable us to identify your needs. It is important that you provide us with accurate and relevant information. You will not receive advice, or a recommendation from us, but we may ask questions to narrow down the selection of firms offered, from which you can more easily make your own choice if you so wish.

Do we charge for our services?

No, we do not charge fees for our broker related services. We are a commission and fee-based organisation which means that we may receive a payment(s) or other benefits from finance providers should you decide to enter into an agreement with us. These fees may be variable or pre-set dependent on the product and the volume that we place with the chosen supplier.

Who regulates us?

Pink Vehicle Leasing is a trading style of TM Ltd who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Our firms reference number is 669460. Other services we offer are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority however the Financial Ombudsman Services hasnow been extended to handle some complaints under the Consumer Credit Act.

If you cannot settle your complaint with us, you may be entitled to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service or the BVRLA.

Cancellation

You are entitled to a cooling off period within the first 14 days of entering into your hire agreement without penalty. Further details will be included within the Terms & Conditions shown on the agreement that you sign or can be requested from your Contact.

However, by signing this form you request Pink Vehicle Leasing to commence providing the services (as defined in the terms & conditions). Where you choose to exercise the right to cancel after the 14 days acceptance period but before the full performance of the services by Pink Vehicle Leasing, you accept that Pink Vehicle Leasing have the right to recover the costs of the services provided up to the point of cancellation up to the value of £2400, this will be fully detailed in the Quotation provided to you

Why you have to provide identity and address verification details

Please be aware that funders are required to verify your identity in accordance with the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 and the Money Laundering Regulations 2007. If they are unable to do this, they cannot continue to transact business with you.

By acting as a Credit Broker for funders, TM Ltd trading as Pink Vehicle Leasing receives commission and/or a fee for introducing business.

This document will need to be amended from time to time. A new Initial Disclosure Document will be given to you when it is required, that is when you commence new business with us or alter your existing agreement.

Data Protection Notice

Your personal data will be collected and processed by Pink Vehicle Limited, which in this section will be referred to as “we”, “our” or “us”.

The core purposes for which we process your personal data include the following:

  1. To verify your identity, assess your suitability for the products and services that you have requested, and decide whether to enter into an agreement with you, such as: credit reference and scoring checks, checking details on proposals and insurance claims, checks for criminal proceedings / convictions, financial assessments, anti-money laundering, terrorist financing and fraud prevention checks which may include sharing personal data with fraud prevention agencies, and managing credit or credit related accounts or facilities.

  2. To manage, administer and take decisions regarding your agreement, such as: providing products and services to you, exercising our rights, and performing our obligations, in connection with the agreement, making payments and recovering monies.

  3. Managing our legitimate business interests, such as: improving customer service, market research, quality assurance, training staff, marketing (where you have permitted us to send you promotional information), system development and statistical analysis on your personal data even if your application is declined by us or you decide not to complete your application with us.

  4. To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
